American Express needed a way to explain their server networks to newly hired developers in a digestible way for training purposes. I took a script provided by the company’s development training department and interpreted it into a storyboard animatic and ultimately a 15-minute narrative explainer video with characters, props, and backgrounds which I rigged and animated fully. A quest is bestowed upon the hero to deliver a client-request packet of data across the lands far and wide, where he meets characters and checkpoints.
